How did content recommendation become the black sheep of the digital ad family – and is there anything to do about it?

In his op-ed to the Adexchanger WhizzCo CEO Alon Rosenthal takes a look at the history of this branch of digital advertising – and offers some practical solutions for publishers to improve the quality of their content recommendation widgets.

The questions answered are burning ones. According to a recent survey by WhizzCo over half of the publishers were willing to forego ad revenue, some even more than 25%, to attract higher-quality advertisers.
